This is an original, fully detailed
and life sized carving. It measures 8 inches from the tip of the
beak to the end of the tail. The total carving is 9 inches high
including the base. The bird is hand carved out of basswood
and painted with acrylic colors.
Each feather is given definition using a burning pen. It
is mounted on a hand carved and painted wooden base. Glass
eyes and the feet are made from bronze. I signed this bird.
