17" Harris's Hawk

This is a fully detailed and life sized carving. The total carving is about 19-1/4 inches high. From the tip of the beak to the end of the tail is is 17 inches long. It is hand carved from basswood and painted in acrylics. The bird is mounted on a hand carved wooden branch and base. Glass eyes and the feet are hand made from modeling putty.
